Sustainability Index 2020

ABOUT THIS INDEX

Boliden has published information on its sustainability approach and performance since 2005. This index is prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Standards: Core Option. This index also constitutes Boliden’s Communication on Progress (COP) and therfeore contains references to Boliden’s performance in relation to the UN Global Compact’s ten principles.

Since 2019, Boliden has supported the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and discloses its performance in this index. The 2020 Sustainability Index comprises references to the Boliden 2020 Annual and Sustainability Report that discloses the Group’s value creation, operations, and risk assessment, including the sustainability perspective.

The Sustainability Index and the Annual and Sustainability Report have been reviewed by means of an external limited assurance engagement in accordance with ISAE 3000, as issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The auditor’s limited assurance report is included in this report. Organizational profile and key performance data are presented in Boliden’s Annual and Sustainability Report 2020.
